What a great spring it’s been for us here at Style & Grace Cleaners! We had the pleasure of getting together with our colleagues for two amazing events, the annual Association of Wedding Gown Specialists Meeting & our quarterly MFM Meeting!

Association of Wedding Gown Specialists

In Late February/Early March Nadine, Grace & Brittany jumped on a plane headed to Napa California, the land of Michelin star restaurants & exceptional wine, for the 2023 Association of Wedding Gown Specialists Conference. Although it may be easy to be distracted by the many tourist opportunities in Napa, the Association Meeting proved to be one of the most engaging and collaborative we’ve attended!

This year’s meeting also marked a first for team Style & Grace, with Owner & CEO Nadine hosting a Strategic Planning session with attending members. Nadine & Jan from Jan’s Professional Dry Cleaners, walked association members through a SWOT analysis, which produced a number of great takeaways!

Our Head of Marketing, Brittany, also presented on the importance of understanding your ideal client and why you need to inform your marketing with in-depth buyer personas to ensure you're getting max impact for your business.

We balanced out all the incredible learning we gathered during the meeting, as well as the amazing walkthrough of association members Greene’s Cleaners plant, with some fun sightseeing and of course, food & wine. 

Methods For Management

In late spring we also had the pleasure of travelling to Alberta to meet with our fellow Canadian operators for our MFM Meeting, hosted by Crouses Cleaners. This group of friends and colleagues have helped us in our growth and re-brand and we could not be more thankful to them for always giving the best advice and providing a listening ear. 

This summer Style and Grace Cleaners will be busy implementing our top takeaways from both meetings and as always, we can’t wait to share our new initiatives with you in the coming months!
